Send Up stillbeing held in many places

NUWAKOT: Community schools in the area have begun send-up tests challenging the Education Ministry's order. The Ministry has effectively scrapped the procurement of holding send-up tests charging charges on the guise of testing understudies' capacity to show up for the SLC examinations.

An aggregate of 105 schools, including 47 higher auxiliary and 58 optional schools began the test from Monday. The majority of the schools have utilized the same inquiry papers for the examination.

Confessing to accepting the order from the Ministry, Sukdev Nepal of the District Education Office said they passed on the message to the schools and that they will investigate the matter. The schools have charged Rs 100-500 every understudy for the examination.

Advocating the move, Chandra Prasad Upreti, head administrator of Chawadi Higher Secondary School, said the examination was held according to the assention of all concerned schools. Upreti said the test was taken to help understudies recognize their qualities and shortcomings.

Then, Chief District Officer Kosh Hari Niraula said the schools took the examination however the neighborhood organization issued a roundabout banning them from holding such tests.
